I know, I know, Once every 6 months (OK 7 almost 8) is not enough to update this thing especially for those who live further away and don't get to see Hudson very often. And I know pictures are more important than my writing so I'm going to keep the writing short and upload more pictures.
Last I see I wrote was before Christmas...
So I guess Jason and I started off our year by taking a trip to the Mayan Riveria for some friends wedding. We had a fabulous time eventhough we missed Hudson like crazy! But we brought him home some maracas, a sombreo, and a new baby sister or brother that will be joining us sometime around October 19th.

Mmmm, who doesn't love Timmy's?
Hudson was very quiet and when I went into the kitchen he had taken a packet of sweet & sour sauce from the drawer and poked it open and was smearing it all over the floor.
The things Daddy does to me! I love every minute of it.
Helping Daddy fix the baseboard I ripped off.
Hudson's "girlfriend" Kendra. She would come to our house a day a week after school to play. This day we ventured out to do some puddling. He loved every minute of it until he fell in one and that was pretty cold but he didn't want to go inside.
Some pretty big snow drifts on our street this year.

This is my favourite part!
Hudson sitting in his big boy booster seat.
On the last day of school we went out to Rosebrier to take in their water fight and Hudson was all over that. He loves water! It took him a little while to warm up to all the kids and then he was right in the middle of most of it and fights were happening around him and he didn't even care. He didn't even mind getting wet.
The kids loved having him there too. They helped him fill his bucket, sprayed him, and even let him use their water guns.
Just6 making sure I was still there.
Hudson's new found love are water guns!
Any kind of gun it doesn't matter as long as it shoots water.
Enjoying an orange float.
Hitting the big waterslide with one of the girls
I love this picture. It's so cute.
The long weekend in July we had my Lidgett family reunion. The weather wasn't the greatest for the first couple days but we made th most of it and had tonnes of fun. Then the weather gets better and everyone starts puking. Not a lot of fun but we made the best of it.
Hudson loved the slide

Picnic time and Auntie Lisa made me wear my short shorts! Who likes short shorts?
Going for a horsey ride. One of the neighbours just showed up with her wagon and took out a bunch of rides. It was so nice. Hudson was a little crabby after his nap and this calmed him right down.

This past weekend we went out with some of our good friends camping at Gull Lake and had a fabulous time! It's so nice to get away after the week we had. So we heading out Friday even after it rained at home all day with no vents in the trailer and holes in the awning (thanks to the hail from the storm we had last week) and made the best of it. It was great! Hudson had so much fun with Charlize and Chase and we had some great company. Can't wait until next year!
