Time For Some Grub
Today I bit the bullet and let Hudson have a taste of some cereal. I didn’t want to because it means he’s growing up! I know I can’t stop him weighing in at 16 lbs 6 oz and 26” long (2 weeks ago) but I can try, right? He’s been showing some interest in what we’ve been eating for a couple weeks and wants to try to drink water out of a glass. And everyone else I know with little ones his age has already started them eating and since Hudson is the biggest I’m sure he would like some eats. So we tried for breakfast and I think more ended up on his bib than in his tummy but it will get better.
Giggles
Hudson has been keeping us very amused with all his giggles. I wanted to share some with you however I’m louder than he is so you have to listen carefully.

Go Canada Go!
These past weeks have just flown by. Hudson has been keeping us very busy. He is a real rolling machine, you don't want to leave him anywhere unattended. You never know where he might end up. He's giggling much more and giving lots of smiles. As you can see even him and Shandy has become friends, sort of. We continue to be visiting lots and even got the opportunity to meet my cousin Jason's little guy, Taylor, who is 2 months older than Hudson but you would never know it because they're the same size. Once again the dreaded cradle cap has returned so we are doing nightly treatments which is a lot more difficult because Hudson is much more active. I have taken on a small part time job with MomsDadsand Kids.com entering information on their website and doing their monthly email. I'm hoping that there will be more hours in the fall so maybe I can stay home and still contribute a little financially but we'll see how that goes closer to the time. I might get the urge to go back. I know I am already missing the adult conversation. So if you ever need a visit I'm here! Today we were lucky enough to go and take in the Olympic Torch Relay in Wetaskiwin and that was pretty amazing. A photographer even took Hudson's picture so watch for him in the newspaper (we don't know which one).
Only if he doesn't grab her ear or tail...
Time will tell

Happy New Year!!
We hope everyone has had a happy and safe holiday season! I am so sorry that I have bee a little slack with the photos but I have definately made up for it today. We had wonderful first Christmas with Hudson. We started off by having my good friend Jen and her little peanut come and spend the night with us. It was so nice to get to visit and catch up. Jason has been taking his second year apprentice for his pipefitting and just finished that on the 18th of December and is now back to spending all his free time working on our basement. His New Years Resolution is to get it finished this year. :) Although I'm pretty sure he'll be done before that as he is doing an incredible job! Then we had our Christmas celebration with the Petrich's at my Mom and Dad's house. Next we got to have Christmas with Jason's immediate family at his Mom's house and then Christmas morning opening our gifts from Santa, as we were all so good this year. And then back to my Mom and Dad's for my immediate family and then later the Lidgett celebration. Boxing Day was spent at Angus Ridge hall with the Snyders. We took a few days to ourselves and then had a quiet New Years with some good friends just down the street. So now we are all ready for a nap.
