On The Move!!

This past couple weeks have been pretty busy for Hudson. He's growing so fast and learning something new everyday. He started with sitting up on his own, which moved very quickly to sccooting around the house by rolling and flopping his body in different directions which allowed him to get into loads of things. Then luckily on Sunday Grandpa came and put in the babygates and the very next day Hudson was on the move - really crawling. And he has been into everything! His favourite things to go after are Shandy, Shandy's food, Shandy's bed, and anything electronic. Shandy stays hidden as much as possible. :)  And when she's not hidden she's running in circles trying to get away from Hudson.

Happy Easter Everyone!

Sitting up playing baseball

Happy St. Patrick's Day Everyone!

This is Shandy's food...I love playing in the water
and taking handfuls of food and putting it on the ground.
I can't wait to see how it tastes.

This is Shandy's bed and I like to rub my face in the
soft blanket. Shandy doesn't sleep here much anymore.

This is Shandy's bed again. It's SO cozy!

I'm helping Mommy with the laundry here.

This is a video of Hudson's first crawl. We were lucky enough to all be home to see him move.

Odds and Ends - Games, Snacks, and Friends

We've been very busy trying new things at our place. We've been experiencing with new foods, we're still working on vegetables he seems to really like cauliflower and sweet potatoes so far. And is not really fond of broccoli. Is it engrained in kids heads that they are not supposed to like broccoli? Hudson has also tried Arrowroot cookies and Mum Mums and seems to like the both. Who wouldn't?

Jason continues to work hard on the basement and this past week we got the carpet installed and the bathroom is in progress. However we had a little trouble with the shower we bought months ago. It has a hole in the door and it's been discontinued. So we're not too sure what we're going to do about that. But the basement looks fabulous! Let the cleaning begin!

Our friends Haley and Kamillah invited Hudson and I to go see a play, King Arthurs Kitchen, in Edmonton and we went. I was a little unsure how it would go. But Hudson loved it! He sat on my lap for the first 25 minutes watching intently and then for the remaider of the play he was a little wiggly but was still very interested in what was going on.

JUMPING BEANS!

Sorry it's been so long since I've posted anything. Our internet has been out, what a pain that has been. Hudson continues to grow like crazy and believe it or not is now six months old! I know I have a hard time believing it. It feels like just yesterday we were coming home from the hospital. But it's not and now he's started to push himself up off the floor and can almost sit up by himself. He's also started eating real food rather than just cereal. Enjoy the video below I know it made us laugh. I'm sorry it's so dark I positioned the camera on the table while I fed him and the window got in the way. Hudson has also been enjoying the Jolly Jumper and is starting to get the hang of it. I've attached a video of one of his first tries. Enjoy!

Visiting Auntie Haley and Kami. Chillin out in the Dora chair.

Watching the Olympics with Daddy.

Hudson's first cereal mess. He grabbed the bowl and it was everywhere: in his hair, on the chair, and all over the window behind him. Oh what fun!

Proud to be Canadian!

The traditional naked baby on the lamb skin rug. Just like mine when I was little. So cute!
