Our Life: Days of Summer

I can't believe the summer is half over already! We've been busy visiting and enjoying the sunshine as well as trying to keep busy on all our rainy days. I love the thunder and lightening and it hasn't seemed to bug Hudson but Shandy is beside herself. She can't find anywhere safe enough to hide.

We took a trip to the beach to visit my friend Heather and her little one Sami. It was Hudson's first trip to the beach and he loved it.

My sister and I threw my Mom and Dad a surprise retirement party and to our surprise it was a surprise! We had a BBQ in our backyard and had lots of delicious food and lots of good company. Thanks everyone for coming.

Rainy Day fun!

His new favourite toys are Shandy's which doesn't always go over so good.

Oh I forgot about the Tupperware cupboard that's another favourite!

I cant' seem to keep them in the cupboard anymore. I pick them up and he comes running.

We went out to celebrate Emily's birthday with her. Hudson wanted to help open the presents. I think he's ready for his birthday! I can't believe it's only a month away.

Here's a new toy

Emily spent her rainy days watching Cake Boss and then made her own birthday cake. It was beautiful! And delicious! Nice work Emily!

Kailyn and Jen came to visit for the night again. Hudson and Kailyn had such a great time! They get along so well and boy they are both moving now so it keeps us on our toes. Only after bedtime can we really sit down for a drink and a nice long visit!

Hudson stood and watched Jason mow the whole front lawn. He moved between the 2 windows to get a better look. After he was done he moved to the back window but isn't quite tall enough to watch Jason through that window yet.

We finally got out camping in our new trailer for the first time this past weekend. We ventured out by Sundre and had a grea time with some great friends on the sunniest weekend of the summer.

Hudson cut his 7th tooth on the first night so Mommy didn't get a lot of the sleep the 2nd night Hudson had developed quite a cold and again we didnt' get as much sleep as normal. Hopefully our next trip goes a little more smoothly. But it is definately nice having heat, a bathroom, and running water.
